The Legacy of the Tek Sing

The Legacy of the Tek Sing
The Chinese junk Tek Sing went down in 1822 on the Belvidere Reef with the loss of some 2,000 people on board.

The antique porcelain that was raised by Michael Hatcher, the world's foremost shipwreck salvor, was the subject of the world's biggest Internet auction of porcelain in November, 2000.

Nigel Pickford is a celebrated maritime historian and owns the world's most comprehensive private archive on lost cargoes. The data in his archive have led to the discovery of more than 70 high-value cargoes.

Also available in German text, Die Tragodie der Tek Sing.
