A Premium Business: A History of General Accident describes the fascinating story of how that small company has grown to a modern corporate giant. Liaising directly with General Accident, BPC was responsible for managing all aspects of the project: commissioning the author, choosing the pictures, clearing copyrights, design, editing, promotion and distribution.

This was all happening while GA was undertaking the most major merger of its history - with Commercial Union - to form CGU. Since then, CGU has merged with Norwich Union to form CGNU.
